Although pre-operative instructions for each patient might be different, you can find some of the most important do’s and don’ts before your hair transplant below;
One week prior to surgery
- Stop taking any aspirins or any drugs containing aspirin
- You should stop taking alcohol or cold medicines
- You should let your hair grow to a length of 2-3 cm. If you shave your hair with a razor, start growing it 3 weeks before the procedure
- You should not smoke before and after one week of the surgery in order to help your healing process
Day of Surgery
- Please make sure that you have a moderate breakfast since it will be a long procedure
- Please arrive at the clinic at your scheduled surgery time. Surgery averages 6-8 hours, based on the size of your procedure
- Shampoo your hair well with any shampoo before you come to our clinic(either the previous day or in the morning)
