Prof. Dr. Tamer Koldas is one of the most talented and experienced plastic surgeons in Turkey. He was born in 1960 in İzmir. He graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School in 1977. He received the title of doctor from Ege University, Faculty of Medicine in 1983, by winning a TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey) scholarship. He completed his compulsory service in Sinop and his military service in Istanbul.
Prof. Dr. Tamer Koldas started his specialization training at Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 1987 and continued his studies in the same clinic after completing his specialization in 1991. He became an associate professor in 1998 and a professor in 2006. He was a fellow at Mount Vernon Hospital, Department of Plastic Surgery in London, England, and Southwestern University Medical School Dallas, Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinics in USA Texas. He is still a lecturer at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
